NSAC Student Competition

The National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) sponsored by American Advertising Federation (AAF) is a college advertising competition that provides real-world experience enabling students to plan and develop an integrated marketing plan and then pitch their ideas to advertising professionals at the district, semi-final, and national levels. The competition starts with a well-developed case about a corporate brand. When teaching at the Miami International University of Art and Design, I was also the adviser for the NSAC competition. Our case that year for the competition was JCpenny. JCpenny wanted an integrated marketing campaign to not only freshen up their look, and appeal to a younger audience, but also wanted to utilize social media.
